Abstract

The invention provides a novel interior decorating material for an automobile and a modification method thereof. The interior decorating material for the automobile comprises an epidermal layer, a foaming layer, a hot melt adhesive layer and a skeleton material which are sequentially stacked. The modification method comprises the following steps: (1) coating a surface of the skeleton material witha modifier, and forming a modified coating after curing, wherein the modifier comprises organic sulfonate, hydroxied acrylate and maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene; (2) subjecting the skeleton material coated with the modified coating to surface treatment with a supersonic flame to obtain a modified skeleton material; (3) subjecting the modified skeleton material to hydrothermal treatment; (4) thermally adhering the epidermal layer, the foaming layer and the hot melt adhesive layer simultaneously, and then compounding the layers after the thermal lamination with the modified skeleton material after the hydrothermal treatment together by vacuum forming. With the adoption of the modification method provided by the invention, the surface tension of the skeleton material of the interiordecorating material for the automobile is improved, the binding fastness between the skeleton material and the foaming layer is enhanced, and the impact resistance of the interior decorating materialfor the automobile is improved.
