The preparation method comprises the following steps of: S1. preparation of the glaze, S2. kneading of the glazed flame-retardant PVC material, and S3. plasticized granulation of the glazed flame-retardant PVC material. The glazed flame-retardant PVC material for the cable sheath provided by the invention has A-class flame-retardant property, can effectively prevent the flame-retarding and dripping of the wires and cables, has the heat insulation effect, can protect an insulating layer from thermal breakdown, and ensures that the material can be powered on at a fire site for a period of time.
