The preparation method includes the steps of: taking industrial titanium dioxide with a weight ratio of 1 and putting the industrial titanium dioxide in a muffle furnace, conducting high temperature calcining in air atmosphere for 3h, and performing cooling and collecting; conducting crushing by a crusher, then adding deionized water with a weight ratio of 2, mixing the substances fully and evenly for dilution, then performing grinding by a nano-grinder to obtain a high purity nano-titanium dioxide solution; taking copper chloride pentahydrate with a weight ratio of 0.03-0.04, adding deionized water with a weight ratio of 1 for dilution to form a copper ion solution; and adding the prepared nano-titanium dioxide solution and performing mixing, then putting the mixture in water bath for dispersion at a low rotational speed to attach metal ions to the surface of nano-titanium dioxide, thus obtaining titanium dioxide for antibacterial air purification waterborne paint.
