Abstract

The invention provides a mutant T-XynT(38)S(50)C(122)C(166) of xylanase T-Xyn. The mutant has good heat resistance and hydrolyzing performance, and is high in yield of xylo-oligosaccharide generated from corn cobs, the reaction time is short to 2 hours, and far shorter than known enzymolysis reaction time, so that the mutant can be used for producing Xylo-oligosaccharides from agricultural wastes, and has great application potential.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of enzyme engineering, in particular to the mutation of xylanase and its application in producing xylooligosaccharides from agricultural waste. Background technique [0002] The large amount of agricultural waste generated globally annually from the production and processing of agricultural products is a major component of lignocellulosic biomass. This lignocellulosic biomass is an underutilized resource rich in cellulose (40–50wt.%), hemicellulose (20–40wt.%) and lignin (10–30wt.%), which are useful renewable resource. Cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin form dense structural networks that prevent their efficient use, so most lignocellulosic biomass is discarded or destroyed through uncontrolled combustion. In addition, the depletion of fossil fuels and increasing environmental and health concerns promote the development of agricultural waste-based technologies to produce biochemicals (e.g. xylooligosaccharides, p...
