Abstract

A combustor body is of a plate fin structure and is formed by welding the flat plate micro heat pipes, a heat conduction plate and copper fins. The combustor body is divided by the heat conduction plate into an upper chamber and a lower chamber, namely, a combustion chamber and a heat conduction chamber. The combustion chamber is defined by evaporation segments of the flat plate micro heat pipes and the copper fins, and the heat conduction chamber is defined by condensation segments of the flat plate micro heat pipes and the copper fins. Combustible gas and air enter the combustion chamber to generate a catalytic combustion reaction to release a great amount of heat, and the heat is transmitted tothe heat conduction chamber through the evaporation segments o f the flat plate micro heat pipes on the wall face of the combustion chamber. Fluid materials are input into the heat conduction cavity,and heat is absorbed to achieve preheating or vaporization. The chamber can also be filled with a catalyst, and the materials absorb heat to achieve a catalytic reaction. Thus, the catalytic combustorcan be widely used for a coupling reaction system of strong heat release and heat absorption.
