Problems solved by technology

The adhesive has no harmful volatile substances such as formaldehyde and phenol. At the same time, the adhesive has good bonding performance and low viscosity. The use of yeast renewable raw materials can alleviate the problems of energy and environmental pollution caused by relying on non-renewable petroleum fossil fuels to prepare adhesives.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of aldehyde-free environment-friendly adhesives, and discloses a yeast protein adhesive and a preparation method and application thereof. The yeast proteinadhesive comprises 2-6 parts of yeast protein powder, 0.1-0.3 part of lauryl sodium sulfate, 3-5 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 0.02-0.4 part of a cross-linking agent and 2-6 parts of water. The adhesive disclosed by the invention does not contain harmful volatile matters carried by aldehyde adhesives such as formaldehyde and phenol, and is good in adhesive property, relatively low in viscosity, simple in preparation process and relatively low in cost. The invention further provides an application of the adhesive to preparation of plywood, and the obtained plywood has good bonding strength.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of formaldehyde-free environment-friendly adhesives, and more specifically relates to a yeast protein adhesive and its preparation method and application. Background technique [0002] The solid content of adhesives used in my country's wood industry exceeds 15 million tons, among which aldehyde adhesives such as urea-formaldehyde glue, phenolic glue, and melamine-formaldehyde glue account for 80% to 90% of the wood industry. Aldehyde adhesives are widely used because of their excellent bonding properties and water resistance. However, these petroleum-based products face various problems due to the intensification of global resource shortages. Moreover, aldehyde adhesives and their products will release harmful substances such as free formaldehyde during production and use, which will endanger human health. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of people's awareness of environmental protection a...
