Abstract

The present invention relates to a desalting-softening water-purifying method combining electrodialysis with ion exchange organically and its equipment. It is characterized by that this method and equipment only consume electric energy without use of edible salt, and when it is used under the normal condition, said water-softening device can be continuously operated, without need of regeneration, and in the special case of needing regeneration, it can use H (+) ions produced from water electroionization to conveniently make regeneration.
