The basic unit of the membrane stack is called a membrane pair, which is composed of a negative membrane 1, a fresh water partition 3, a positive membrane 2, and a concentrated water partition 4, forming a concentrated water chamber and a fresh water chamber, which are filled in the fresh water chamber.
