The preparation method comprises the following steps: reacting materials at 300-700 DEG C for 2-24 hours to obtain different-dimension oriented carbon materials; wherein the material is a substance a; or the material is a mixed solution comprising a substance a and a substance b; the substance a comprises resin, an alcohol compound, an ether compound or a carbohydrate compound; and the substance b comprises at least one of water, dry ice and ice. According to the invention, the resin, the alcohol compound, the ether compound or the carbohydrate compound is used as a carbon source, the pH value is adjusted by using acid or alkali, and carbon microspheres, carbon nanorods and carbon nanofibers are prepared in a supercritical body of water or carbon dioxide for the first time.
