Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: crushing waste cathode carbon blocks, and screening the crushed cathode carbon by using a standard sieve for later use; accurately weighing cathode carbon powder, putting the cathode carbon powder into a quartz tube, sealing the quartz tube with a graphite block, and connecting two ends of the quartz tube with a high-temperature thermal shock system through electrode bars; and treating the waste cathode carbon by using a high-temperature thermal shock system. Fluorides and other toxic substances in the waste cathode carbon blocks can be efficiently removed based on the capacitor discharge heating device, impurity elements in cathode carbon are decomposed and escaped after high-temperature thermal shock treatment, and the fixed carbon content is increased from 72% to 95%.
