The sound absorbing structure comprises at least one honeycomb structure (52) comprising at least one partition enclosure (62) fixed in one of the cells (60) of the honeycomb structure (52) and connected to at least one partition (58) delimiting said cell (60), the partition enclosure (62) separates an inner region (ZI) located inside the partition enclosure (62) from an outer region (ZE) located in the unit (60) and outside the partition enclosure (62), the partition enclosure (62) comprising at least one through-hole (70) configured to communicate the inner region (ZI) with the outer region (ZE). This configuration makes it possible to simply define several regions in the same cell, thereby helping to increase the spectrum of attenuating acoustic waves. The aircraft comprises at least one such sound absorbing structure.
