The invention discloses a realization method for enabling a function of a link layer discovery protocol (LLDP) on a non-Ethernet link. The realization method comprises the following steps that: global enable of an LLDP is respectively started on network equipment of a home terminal and network equipment of an opposite terminal; port enable of an LLDP is respectively started on a non-Ether interface of network equipment of the home terminal and a non-Ether interface of network equipment of the opposite terminal; when an HelloTime is reached, an LLDP Hello message is assembled on a port of the home terminal, and the message is sent to the opposite terminal; and the LLDP Hello message is received and is processed according to an LLDP protocol so as to generate and update neighboring information. According to the invention, an objective of utilizing an LLDP neighboring discovery function on a non-Ethernet link is achieved; besides, the implementation is simple and the cost is low. In addition, the invention also discloses a realization system for enabling the LLDP function on the non-Ethernet link. The system comprises a global enable open module, a port enable open module, an interface binding module, a message sending module, a message receiving module and an aging module.

The invention relates to a method for realizing link discovery and management in an FTTX (Fiber to the X) access system. The method comprises the steps of: periodically sending link layer discovery protocol messages to an uplink device of an OLT (Optical Line Terminal) device through an uplink interface by the OLT device; performing a listening task by a core swap disk program of the OLT, wherein the link layer discovery protocol messages from an ONU (Optical Network Unit) and an ONU user-side access device are received in the listening task; respectively storing locally stored information of the device and information of a user-side network device into a local link layer discovery protocol management information base by the OLT device; requiring to send LLDPDU (Link Layer Discovery Protocol Data Unit) protocol messages to the uplink device by the OLT so as to report the existence of the OLT; and carrying out extension of the LLDPDU messages. The invention fills in the gap of application of the traditional link layer discovery protocol (LLDP) and provides the method for realizing link layer discovery in the FTTX access system with optical path grading, especially on a plug-in card type OLT device; and according to the method, provided by the invention, the basic architecture of the FTTX access system is not affected, and the operation is simple and easy to realize.

The network interface testing method comprises the steps that the electronic equipment acquires multiple link-layer discovery protocol (LLDP) messages sent by a switch, wherein multiple to-be-tested network interfaces of the electronic equipment are connected with ports of the switch respectively, differentto-be-tested network interfaces are connected with different ports, and each LLDP message comprises an identifier of the port sending the LLDP message; the electronic equipment determines network interface connection information according to all the LLDP message and the identifiers of the to-be-tested network interfaces receiving the LLDP messages, wherein the network interface connection information is used for indicating the connection relation of all the to-be-tested network interfaces and the ports of the switch; and the electronic equipment sends the network interface connection information to the main control equipment, and therefore the main control equipment can open or close the ports of the switch according to the network connection information to conduct performance testing on the to-be-tested network interfaces connected with the opened ports. Accordingly, manual intervention is not needed in network interface testing, testers are reduced, and the testing efficiency is improved.
