The instant invention known as “H.A.L.O. HYBIRD”™ is an amusing multipurpose hand tool primarily used to manipulate fluid mass and multitask secondary related and unrelated natural and synthetic matter.
The H.A.L.O. HYBIRD™ device, (Fig. AOK) comprising a generally flat, rounded planar member which is sufficiently sized to expand the surface area of a users hand, is provided with a primary powerface (FIGS. 9a &11a), a secondary powerface (FIGS. 9b &11b), a leading edge (FIGS. 9c &11c), a peripheral edge (FIG. 9d &11d), a trailing edge (FIGS. 9e &11e), a finger receiving aperture (FIGS. 9f &11f), a center balance point (FIGS. 9g &11g), a plurality of “optional” vortice producing apertures (FIGS. 9h &11h), an integrally formed gripping region (FIGS. 9i &11i), a hand receiving aperture bifurcating the peripheral edge (FIGS. 9j &11j), a plurality of apertures (FIGS. 9k &11k) facilitating a releasable hand securement means (FIGS. 5 &17) being threadably affixed therethrough, thereby facilitating methods by which a users hand is engagably installed into said device and therein bisected, simultaneously occupying space in, on and about said planar member (FIGS. 7, 8, 19 &20), whereby at least one finger is methodically passed through said finger receiving aperture and encouraged to work cooperatively with the thumb to multitask secondary matter (Fig. AOK).

Swimming gloves

A glove for biasing a user's hand into an optimal position for swimming. The glove having a body member with a thumb hole and closure flaps, four finger portions secured to the body member and a resilient member secured to the body member and extending across the four finger portions, wherein the resilient member in cooperation with the four finger portions reduces splaying of fingers during a swimming stroke, restricts balling of the hand when worn and restricts touching of the fingers when worn.

Swimming paddle and custom fitting method

A swimming paddle with an upper rounded swimcap-shaped edge terminating in side indentations that define cap-securing temples, and a central goggle-securing notch cooperating with a concave region in the lower edge to store goggles vertically on the paddle. The paddle may further include fingerpad-indexing holes extending through the body of the paddle from the inner face to the outer face, the holes sized to allow only the fingerpads of a swimmer's extended fingers to partially protrude from the inner face. A method for custom fitting a swimming paddle to a particular swimmer's hand includes generating a side-by-side image of the swimmer's hand and a commonly-carried object such as a mobile phone in a common plane. The image is compared to stored dimensional data for the object to remotely determine the dimensions of the swimmer's hand and manufacture a custom paddle.

Breaststroke swimming training paddles with fins

A training paddle for use by a swimmer comprises a base configured to accommodate a hand of the swimmer. A strap holds the base to the hand. A raised fin that extends upward from the base directs water away from flowing between the hand and the base.

Systems and methods for formulating a performance metric of a motion of a swimmer

A system for formulating a performance metric of a motion such as water sport motion, preferable a swimming stroke, includes a wearable sensor device including 4 pressure sensors, a 9 degrees of freedom inertial measurement unit (IMU), a micro-processor communicating with the pressure sensors and the IMU, and waterproof housing in the form of a flexible silicone band to house the microprocessor, the pressure sensors and the IMU. The system includes an external computer communicating with the device for receiving and combining input data from each of the pressure sensors and the IMU, via the microprocessor, and a processing unit configured to combine the input data from both the at least one pressure sensor and the IMU. The input data is used to infer at least one force magnitude and at least one force direction, the input data being used to provide the performance metric of the water sport motion.

Hand Cover Apparatus

A hand cover apparatus with a tensioning mechanism that tensions a portion of the apparatus such that it is urged to retract to an open position, freeing a portion of the user's hand. Said system has one stationary piece and at least one additional piece that moves relative to it and can be triggered to free the hand by using only the hand to which it is mounted.

Yoga glove

A yoga glove has a palm section, a back section and a finger section. The palm section has a thumb hole formed through the palm section. An edge of the palm section has a front segment and a rear segment. An extending length of the back section is longer than that of the palm section. An edge of the back section has a front segment and a rear segment. The rear segment of the edge of the back section is connected securely with that of the edge of the palm section. The finger section is crescent. An edge of the finger section is connected securely with the front segments of the palm section and the back section. Therefore, the ergonomically curved yoga glove can match the curved shape of the hand and stay close to the hand.

Training device having immediate training effect in water for swimmers

The purpose of the invention was to develop a training device that allows acquiring sense of water immediately after workouts with it.The possible embodiment comprise an elastic or stretching material with gaseous medium between water and sportsman's palm and (or) forearm, and at least one valve. The embodiment allows to create the artificial gaseous medium at the inner side of human hand and / or forearm in water and to change its pressure and volume. The gaseous medium pressure and volume are set for a sportsman to change his psychosomatic sensations and lead to changes in mechanics and dynamics of the sportsman strokes in water. The invention with gaseous medium assists swimmer to improve his ability to sense water. If pressure of gaseous medium is properly selected there is an effect of vanishing support during execution of strokes. The effect occurs due to properties of fluent gaseous medium in elastic / stretchy material. Shape of the gaseous medium is very responsive to propulsive forces during underwater part of a stroke. The gaseous medium deformations by water streams / flows cause feedback to swimmer hand, arm, and brain about applied forces. Interactive perception of water through the vanishing gas support assists swimmer to find right mechanics and dynamics of strokes that correspond with the current factors influencing swimming. In other words the device assists in development of human physical qualities required for increase in efficiency of applying hand's (or arm's) force during underwater part of strokes. A sportsman recalls the developed mechanics and dynamics right after workout with the device and its doffing.

Finger web swimming aid

InactiveUS20050266745A1Facilitates manipulative movementAction being takenSwimming glovesSwim finsEngineeringUltimate tensile strength
A finger web swimming aid embodying fingerstalls and web membranes molded to form one integral body therefrom, and wherein the web membranes are connected between side walls of each of the fingerstalls. The fingerstalls provide ends of each of tubular members allow for the first joint of each of the user's fingers to expose therefrom. Ribbed edges are configured on outer edges of each of the web membranes, which enhance strength and allow for easy removal thereof. Furthermore, a plurality of grooves are further defined on surfaces of each of the web membranes, and which provide the web membranes with a moderate degree of concavity, and functions in coordination with flexing of the fingers of the user. In particular, when necessary, easy removal of at least one finger of the three center fingers from the fingerstalls is effectuated, and which thereby facilitates manipulative movements therewith.

Hand-held paddle apparatuses and methods of using the same

Hand-held paddle apparatuses are useful for moving a body through a fluid, such as water, and providing use of hands and fingers for other functions. Moreover, the hand-held paddle apparatuses are hinged to reduce the surface area interacting with the fluid when the paddle apparatuses move in one direction, and to open to increase the surface area interacting with the fluid in an opposite direction.
