Abstract

An accomponied chromium recovery in comprehensive production of vanadium oxide is carried out by: (1) reducing wastewater from production of vanadium oxide by adding water treating agent, (2) neutralizing with NaOH and filtering, (3) drying and firing to obtain chromium slag with higher than 60 percents, producing high C content chromium iron by adding coke or low C content chromium iron by adding silicon iron. It can be combined with vanadium oxide production and apparatus, with no need of large investment, with simple process and high recovery rate to extract chromium from by-product so as to eliminate chromium pollution. It can be used for treatment of chromium containing wastes in smeltery or metal plants, etc.
