Abstract

The invention discloses a method for restoring polycyclic aromatic (PAHs) polluted soil by charcoal which is prepared by livestock and poultry manure and belongs to the field of polluted soil restoration. The method comprises the following steps: preparing charcoal by using livestock and poultry manure output by a livestock and poultry plant by a thermal cracking method under the conditions of oxygen deficiency and high temperature of 350-600 DEG C; crushing the prepared charcoal into grains of 2-8mm; mixing the charcoal and polluted soil sufficiently in proportion of 0.5-10 percent; maintaining the water content of soil from 10 to 17 percent; and processing the mixture for 30-300 days to remove various PAHs in the soil.
