Embodiment Construction

[0024] A brain parameter sensor device 1 as an example of a patient data sensor device has an implantable brain parameter sensor 2 as an example of a patient data sensor. The latter are used, for example, to measure intracranial pressure, eg in soft tissue or in the ventricle. The sensor 2 can alternatively or additionally be configured as a temperature sensor. In this case, the sensor 2 can have a Wheatstone bridge. In this case, the ohmic resistance of the diagonal corners of the bridge is measured and, in particular, this resistance is clearly related to the temperature to be determined. The sensor 2 can be connected to the carrier assembly 4 by a rigid or flexible conduit 3 . The conduit 3 can be made of plastic material. not in figure 1 The signal and power lines shown in are arranged in the conduit 3, on the one hand, for the energy supply of the sensor 2, and, on the other hand, for signal transmission, in particular for transmission of measurement and control signa...

Abstract

The invention relates to a patient data sensor device (1), having an implantable patient data sensor (2) and an implantable data transmission apparatus (4), which is in signal connection to the patient data sensor (2). The data transmission apparatus (4) has an antenna (11) for the telemetric data transmission to an external data processing unit. The data transmission apparatus (4) further comprises a support plate (5, 7) for electronic components (9, 10). The latter are covered on the support plate (5, 7) by a cover (14), at least toward one side. The antenna (11) is configured in an edge region (8) of the support plate (5, 7), and about the same, and about the electronic components (9, 10) in a circumferential manner. The result is a patient data sensor device that is configured in a more tolerable manner for the patient.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a patient data sensor device according to the preamble of claim 1 . Background technique [0002] A sensor device of this type is known from DE 102 39 743 A1 as a brain parameter sensor device. Other sensor devices are known from WO 02 / 062215 A2, US 2006 / 0020300 A1, US 6 083 174, DE 197 05 474 A1, DE 196 38 813 C1, DE 101 56 469 A1 and DE 103 53 144 A1. Known sensor devices are so large insofar as they have a carrier plate with the electronic components that they cause pain to the patient after implantation. There is also a risk of postoperative infection. [0003] It is therefore the object of the present invention to develop a patient data sensor device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is more tolerable for the patient. Contents of the invention [0004] According to the invention, this object is achieved by a patient data sensor device having the features disclosed in claim 1 . [0005] Accordi...
