The invention relates to an insecticidal composition comprising sulfoxaflor and cyhalothrin, wherein active ingredients are sulfoxaflor and cyhalothrin; the mass ratio of the sulfoxaflor to the cyhalothrin is 1-100:100-1; the better mass ratio is 1-24:24-1; the best mass ratio is 1-20:10-1; the active ingredients in the insecticidal composition account for 1-100% of the total mass percentage and 5-50% preferably; the remaining is auxiliary elements permitted to use and accepted in pesticides; and the insecticidal composition can be prepared to emulsifiable solution, emulsion in water, suspending agent and wettable powder preparation by a known method.
