Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid ammonia production method which comprises the following steps of: (A) performing three-level segregation of crude ammonia gas to remove most of water and hydrogen sulfide therein, wherein the conditions of the three-level segregation are as follows: the temperature of the first-level segregation is 120-200 DEG C, and the pressure after the segregation is 0.6-2.0MPa; the temperature of the second-level segregation is 90-150 DEG C, and the pressure after the segregation is 0.55-1.5MPa; and the temperature of the second-level segregation is 30-70 DEG C, and the pressure after the segregation is 0.5-1.0MPa; (B) cooling the segregated ammonia gas to (-30)-20 DEG C to convert the ammonia gas into liquid ammonia; (C) increasing pressure of the liquid ammonia to 1.3-3.0MPa; and (D) removing water and hydrogen sulfide of the liquid ammonia in a desulfurization dehydrator at the same time, wherein the operation temperature of the desulfurization dehydrator is (-30)-50 DEG C, and the operation pressure is 1.3-3.0MPa. The invention provides a new liquid ammonia production method. An ammonia compressor is not used in the production process, the production process is safer and more reliable, and secondary pollution to the liquid ammonia is avoided.
