Abstract

The invention discloses a combined production method of methacrylamide and methyl methacrylate. The combined production method comprises the following steps of: with acetone cyanohydrin as a main raw material, generating methacrylamide sulfate through actions of concentrated sulfuric acid hydrolysis, dehydration and the like, neutralizing the methacrylamide sulfate by using ammonia and ammonia water, and circulating at least part of neutralized mother liquor and aqueous methanol recovered in purification of a crude methacrylamide product to an esterification step for producing the methyl methacrylate, wherein the mother liquor and the aqueous methanol are used for producing the methyl methacrylate. According to the combined production method, the methacrylamide in the mother liquor can be sufficiently utilized again to be converted into the methyl methacrylate, so that the loss of the methacrylamide is reduced, the yield of the methyl methacrylate is improved and the emission of the wastewater is reduced; and in addition, the neutralized mother liquor can be used for preventing impurities from accumulating in the process of purifying the methyl methacrylate, meanwhile, the recovered aqueous methanol does not need to be rectified and can be directly used for producing the methyl methacrylate, and therefore the investment of methanol rectification equipment is saved.
