Problems solved by technology

[0004] The complete chemical acid hydrolysis process requires strong acid hydrolysis, which requires high reaction equipment, and the residue after the reaction is difficult to recover; it is completely prepared by mechanical methods, no chemical reagents are required, and the impact on the environment is small, but the particle size prepared by mechanical methods The distribution is wide, and the equipment required for mechanical preparation is relatively special, and the energy consumption is high
[0005] The methods reported so far for the preparation of T-CNs lyotropic N*-LCs are completely processed by acid hydrolysis, and the yield of N*-LCs is very low, which is a serious waste of resources.

Embodiment 1

[0016] (1) Take 100g of bulk sea squirt cellulose and 1L of water and pour them into a ball mill. After grinding for 1 hour, the temperature inside the mill will rise due to friction. It needs to be shut down for 15 minutes to cool down to room temperature, and then grind again. Repeat the above steps three times.

[0017] (2) Pour out the ground sea squirt cellulose slurry, centrifuge with a centrifuge at 12,000 rpm, remove the supernatant, and keep the precipitate.

[0018] (3) Take 10 g of the precipitate and mix it with 175 ml of concentrated sulfuric acid with a concentration of 64 wt %, and heat and react in an oil bath at 45 ° C for 5 h with magnetic stirring.

[0019] (4) Add 800ml of deionized water to stop the reaction, centrifuge with a centrifuge at 12000rpm, remove the supernatant, wash with deionized water and then centrifuge, repeat the operation three times.

[0020] (5) Put the centrifuged sediment into a dialysis bag and dialyze with deionized water until the...

Embodiment 2

[0024] In the step (1), the dosage of the lumpy ascidian cellulose is 0.01-10 kg, and the rest of the steps are the same as in Example 1.

Embodiment 3

[0026] The amount of water used in step (1) is 0.1-10L, and the rest of the steps are the same as in Example 1.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for optimizing tunicatecellulose preparation. Since tunicatecellulose (TC) has larger molecular weight and degree of crystallization, tunicatecellulose nanocrystals (TCNs) with high yield are unlikely to be prepared through the traditional acid hydrolysis method, and the highest yield is only about 20%. In order to overcome the problems, the invention discloses the method for optimizing T-CNs preparation. The method comprises: firstly, grinding the tunicatecellulose (TC) through a ball mill in the presence of water, and then, performing acid hydrolysis on the milled TC. The hydrolysate is ultrasonically treated by high power ultrasonic to prepare T-CNs with high yield as high as 50%. The preparation process provided by the invention is environment-friendly, simple in method and beneficial to industrial production.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of nanocellulose liquid crystal materials, and more specifically relates to the improvement of sea squirt nanocellulose and its preparation method for lyotropic cholesteric liquid crystals. Background technique [0002] Cellulose is rich in resources and is the largest natural organic polymer material. It is the main component of the cell walls of higher plants (such as cotton and trees) and various algae, and some fungi and bacteria can also synthesize cellulose. In recent years, people have also found the presence of cellulose in some knapsack animals (such as sea squirts). Because of its wide range of sources, degradability, regeneration and excellent physical and chemical properties, its full processing and utilization has important economic and environmental benefits in today's shortage of fossil fuels. [0003] Since the beginning of the 21st century, nanotechnology has also made considerable progres...
