Abstract

With 170nm of 99.65wt.%-99.8wt.% Al2O3 as a main ingredient and 500nm of 0.10wt.%-0.175wt.% of ZrO2 powder and 80nm of 0.10wt.%-0.175wt.% of MgO powder as additives, the high-intensity semitransparent alumina sintered body (the dental prosthetic material), which is higher than 99.5% in relative density, is prepared by mixing the main ingredient and the additives by virtue of a wet process according to proportions, conducting drying, compression molding and pre-sintering, then conducting step-step rapid sintering in an induction furnace, and then conducting annealing heat treatment, wherein in the entire process, a sample, which becomes black due to deoxidization in a vacuum rapid sintering process, is oxidized once again and becomes white. The high-intensity and light-transparent alumina ceramic sintered body is uniform in microstructure, and average grain size is less than 2.0 [mu]m, three-point-bending intensity reaches 690MPa to the greatest extent and maximum hardness is greater than 19GPa; and meanwhile, the alumina all-ceramic material is adjustable in light transmittance.
