Abstract

Straw ash taking silicon dioxide as a main component is prepared through physical and chemical treatment processes by utilizing agricultural solid waste straws with high silicon dioxide contents and then is subjected to surface treatment by using a silane coupling agent. The modified straw ash is large in specific surface area and strong in physical and chemical absorption ability of formaldehyde, and can reduce the content of free formaldehydes in resin when being used for the preparation of the urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive; through reaction between active alkoxy in the silane coupling agent and active hydroxyl on the surface of the silicon dioxide, a three-dimensional net structure can be formed among urea-formaldehyde resin molecular chains, so that the cohesive force among molecules and the mechanical strength of the adhesive are improved. With the adoption of the urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive provided by the invention, not only is a rural environment improved, and are wastes changed into valuables, but also the production cost is reduced; moreover, raw materials are easy to obtain, the process is simple, and an obtained product is low in free formaldehyde release amount, water-resistant, heat-resistant and high in bonding strength.
