The TPU comprises following raw materials in parts by weight: 50 to 70 parts of polyether type dihydric alcohol, 20 to 30 parts of diisocyanate, 4 to 8 parts of chain extender, 1 to 3 parts of hydrolysis stabilizing agent, 3 to 10 parts of fire retardant, and 1 to 5 parts of lubricant. The preparation method comprises following steps: (1) mixing polyether type dihydric alcohol, a hydrolysis stabilizing agent, a lubricant, and a catalyst, and heating the mixture to a temperature of 100 to 120 DEGC; (2) heating diisocyanate to a temperature of 50 to 70 DEG C; (3) heating a chain extender to a temperature of 40 to 60 DEG C, adding three components into the sprue gate of a double screw extruder,fully mixing in the double screw extruder, and carrying out complete reactions, wherein the temperature of the screws is 180 to 230 DEG C, and the rotation speed of the screws is 140 to 180 rpm; (4)adding a fire retardant into a double screw air outlet; and (5) cutting the strips in water and drying the particles at a temperature of 80 to 90 DEG C.
