Abstract

A method for preparing sludge-based biochar relates to the technical field of sludge-based biochar preparation. The method comprises the following steps: municipal sludge is successively concentrated,conditioned for modification, and highly dried for dewatering, so that a dewatered sludge cake is obtained; and the sludge-based biochar is obtained by conducting crushing, drying and pyrolysis carbonization on the dewatered sludge cake. An agent added in the conditioning modification is one or more of inorganic coagulants, organic coagulants and additives, wherein the inorganic coagulant is at least one of aluminum sulfate, potassium aluminum sulfate, sodium aluminate, ferrous sulfate, ferric sulfate, polyferric sulfate, poly aluminum sulfate and polysilicate ferric; the additive is at leastone of fly ash, plant ash, sawdust and rice husk bran. The invention can utilize sludge for waste utilization and produce the sludge-based biochar which can promote plant growth. The invention has the advantages of converting sludge into fertilizer for promoting plant growth and improving economic benefit of planting.
