Abstract

The admixture consists of shaped single-hole or porous polymer fibers and asphalt mastic detritus, wherein the content of the shaped single-hole or porous polymer fiber is 0.1% to 0.5% of the total weight. The polymeric fibers can be polyester fibers, polyacrylonitrile fibers, polyamide fibers, or these hybrid fibers. 'Shaped' refers to a fiber cross-section being any rule or irregular geometry, such as cruciform, trefoil, well font, star, and cinquefoil. 'Hollow' means that this fiber is not solid but has one or more holes along the axis. The admixture has good crack resistance, durability, workability, facilitated construction without investment in new equipment.
