A preparation method of the active navy blue dye comprises the following steps: (a) adding hydrochloric acid solution and sodium nitrite solution into meta (para) nitro aniline; (b) dripping H acid into the solution of the (a) step for reaction; (c) dissolving contraposition ester into water; (d) addingthe solution obtained in the (c) step into cyanuric chloride suspension for reaction, and adding 2, 5-diamino benzene sulfonic acid after the reaction completion; (e) adding the hydrochloric acid solution into reaction liquid of the (d) step, and then adding the sodium nitrite solution; (f) dripping the solution of the (e) step into the solution of the (b) step; and (g) preparing and obtaining the compound with the structural formula (I) through placing the coupling solution of the (f) step under the alkaline condition.
