Abstract

The invention discloses a copy toner. The copy toner is prepared from the following raw materials in part by weight: 56 to 60 parts of styrene acrylic acid polymerization resin, 35 to 40 parts of magnetic powder ferric oxide, 3 to 5 parts of chromic oxide serving as a charge control agent, 2 to 3 parts of polypropylene wax, 3 to 5 parts of titanium oxide serving as a stabilizing agent and 3 to 6 parts of silicon dioxide serving as a flowable agent. The toner of the invention is prepared by the following steps of: (1) mixing the raw materials in a low-speed mixing machine for 10 to 15 minutes, introducing the mixture into a mixing roll, mixing at a high temperature, extruding, standing and cooling; (2) after the materials are cooled, crushing the materials by using a rough crusher and grading the crushed materials into toner raw materials by using a jet mill; and (3) putting the raw materials prepared in the step (2), the titanium oxide serving as the stabilizing agent and the silicon dioxide serving as the flowable agent into a high-speed mixing machine for mixing and filtering the mixed materials by using a vibrating screen so as to obtain a finished product.
