Problems solved by technology

However, for magnesium-calcium refractory materials containing high free CaO, the moisture in the binder will hydrate the CaO, causing the product to crack, pulverize, or even collapse. Therefore, the less moisture in the binder, the better.
[0003] Invention Patent No. 97105801.6 provides a binder made of plasticizer, isocyanate and refined asphalt, the water weight content is below 0.05%, but it is still not ideal, and still affects the quality of magnesia-calcium bricks

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of application of fire-resistant materials and relates to a binding agent for an unfired magnesia brick rich in CaO and a preparation method thereof. The binding agent is characterized by consisting of the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 30 to 40 percent of high-temperature asphalt, 3 to 8 percent of anthracene oil, 10 to 15 percent of plasticizer, 35 to 45 percent of isocyanate and 1 to 5 percent of rare earth oxide. The binding agent has the advantages that: water weight and content are lower and below 0.01 percent; binding property to the magnesia brick rich in CaO is higher; the product is not cracked and does not have crack, swell or have oxidation phenomenon when cooled at once after being used at a high temperature; and the effect is better when kiln skin is used on a cement rotary kiln. The binding agent is suitable for a clinkering zone and a steel ladle furnace lining part of the cement rotary kiln and is a new-generation environment-friendly material.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the application field of refractory materials, and in particular relates to a binder for unfired magnesia-calcium bricks and a preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] At present, magnesia-carbon refractories are widely used in iron and steel smelting production. With the continuous development of iron and steel smelting production technology, people have higher and higher requirements for the strength and high temperature performance of refractory products. Therefore, magnesia-calcium carbonaceous refractories came into being. Compared with magnesia-carbon bricks, they have the advantages of high compressive strength and strong corrosion resistance, thereby increasing the service life of the furnace. However, for magnesium-calcium refractory materials containing high free CaO, the moisture in the binder will hydrate the CaO, causing the product to crack, pulverize, or even collapse. Therefore, the less moistur...
