Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing lactic acid and ethanol by fermentation of furfural residues. The method comprises the following steps: 1) neutralizing a furfural residue aqueous solution with solid base and then filtering so as to obtain furfural residue filtrate and furfural filter residue; 2) neutralizing the filtrate with the furfural residues so as to respectively carry out adaptive culture on lactic acid bacteria and yeast; and 3) putting the furfural filter residue which is obtained from the step 1) and the lactic acid bacteria and yeast which are obtained from the step 2) into a fermentation tank for synchronous saccharification fermentation so as to obtain lactic acid and ethanol. According to the invention, a mixed bacteria fermentation method has higher cellulose utilization and production efficiency as compared with single bacteria fermentation; and simultaneously, the consumption amount of a reaction reagent can be saved, production cost is reduced, and the recoveries of equipment and cost are accelerated.
