Abstract

The composite spheres are spherical zinc oxide with the diameter of 1-2 mu m carrying silver particles with the particle size of 10-30 nm on the surface, wherein the spherical zinc oxide is composed of alternately erect zinc oxide sheets with the thickness of 10-30 nm. The method comprises the following steps: mixing a zinc acetate water solution and a sodium citrate water solution to obtain a mixed solution, adding a sodium hydroxide water solution into the mixed solution, and stirring to obtain a milk white solution; keeping the milk white solution at the temperature of 80-160 DEG C in a closed state for at least 6 hours, thereby obtaining an intermediate reaction solution; centrifuging the intermediate reaction solution, washing and drying to obtain an intermediate product; adding the intermediate product into a silver nitrate glycol solution, and stirring to obtain a light brown turbid reaction solution; and centrifuging the light brown turbid reaction solution, washing and drying to obtain the target product.
