Problems solved by technology

[0009] In order to fully demonstrate the excellent characteristics of the above-mentioned organic light-emitting diodes, the materials forming the organic material layer in the diode, such as hole injection materials, hole transport materials, light-emitting materials, electron transport materials, electron injection materials, etc., should be stabilized and stabilized in advance. Supported by efficient materials, but stable and efficient organic material layer materials for organic light-emitting diodes have not yet been fully developed, so that new materials still need to be developed

Embodiment approach

[0092] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments are described to assist understanding of the present invention. However, the following examples are presented to explain the present invention, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto.

Embodiment 1

[0094] Fabrication of an organic light emitting diode

[0095] coated with a thickness of A glass substrate of ITO (indium tin oxide) film (corning 7059 glass) was immersed in distilled water with detergent dissolved in it, and then cleaned using ultrasonic waves. In this case, the detergent used here was a commercially available product from Fischer Co., and the distilled water was distilled water secondary filtered using a commercially available filter from Millipore Co.. The ITO was cleaned for 30 minutes and then ultrasonically cleaned twice for 10 minutes by repeated sonication using distilled water. After cleaning with distilled water is completed, ultrasonic cleaning is performed by using solvents such as isopropanol, acetone, and methanol, and the resulting product is dried and transferred to a plasma cleaner. In addition, the substrate was dry cleaned by using oxygen plasma for 5 minutes, and then transferred to a vacuum deposition machine.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an organic light emitting diode and to a method for manufacturing same. The organic light emitting device, according to the present invention, comprises an exciton blocking layer containing a compound represented by chemical formula 1, so that excitons are trapped inside a light emitting layer thereby preventing light leakage, and thus has the advantage of enabling an organic light electroluminescent device having superior light emitting efficiency. As a result, the organic light emitting diode can have a simpler manufacturing process and be more economical than that manufactured according to existing techniques, and also can have low-voltage, high efficiency, and a long life.

Description

technical field [0001] This application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2012-0019965 filed in KIPO on February 27, 2012, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. [0002] The present invention relates to an organic light emitting diode. More particularly, the present invention relates to an organic light emitting diode having excellent characteristics including low voltage, high efficiency and long life, and a simple manufacturing method. Background technique [0003] The phenomenon of organic luminescence is an example of the conversion of electrical current into visible light through internal processes of specific organic molecules. The organic light-emitting phenomenon is based on the following principle. When the organic material layer is placed between the anode and the cathode, if a voltage is applied between the two electrodes, electrons and holes are injected into the organic material layer from the cathode an...
