Abstract

The invention discloses an antiseptic for food packaging materials and a preparation method thereof. The antiseptic for food packaging materials is a microcapsule using tetradecane as a core material and a composite material formed by chitosan and Arabia gum as a wall material, wherein the weight ratio of core material to the wall material is 1:1, and chitosan and Arabic gum in the wall material are in the weight ratio of 1:5-7. The preparation method is as below: homogenizing and emulsifying tetradecane, emulsifier and deionized water, and pouring the mixture into chitosan acetic acid solution to obtain an uniform mixed liquor; dropwise adding the uniform mixed liquor into the Arabic gum aqueous solution, adjusting the pH value to 3-4, and reacting for of 1-3 h to obtain a reaction liquid; controlling the temperature of the reaction liquid below 10 DEG C, adding glutaraldehyde for solidification, adjusting the pH value to 8-9, continuing stirring for 30-60 min to obtain a microcapsule solution; conducting vacuum filtration, washing and drying on the obtained microcapsule solution, so as to obtain the natural, antibacterial, non-toxic, harmless, pollution-free to the environment and biodegradable antiseptic for food packaging materials.
