Abstract

The invention provides a selective enterococcus enrichment medium. According to the technical scheme, the medium comprises the following components: 5.0 g of proteose peptone, 2.5 g of yeast extract powder, 3.0 g of beef extract, 20.0 g of glucose, 4.0 g of lactose, 5.0 g of sodium chloride, 2.5 g of sodium azide, 10.0 g of bile salt, 6 ml of an aqueous solution with a bromocresol green concentration being 0.1% and an ethanol concentration being 20%, and 1000 ml of distilled water. The medium is manufactured by weighing 5.0 g of proteose peptone, 2.5 g of yeast extract powder, 3.0 g of beef extract, 20.0 g of glucose, 4.0 g of lactose, 5.0 g of sodium chloride, 2.5 g of sodium azide, and 10.0 g of bile salt; putting the obtained materials in a 1000 ml conical flask; measuring 1000 ml of distilled water and putting the distilled water in the conical flask; heating the conical flask to melt the obtained mixture; adjusting the pH value to 6.0; adding 6 ml of the aqueous solution with a bromocresol green concentration being 0.1% and an ethanol concentration being 20%; split-charging 50.0 ml of the obtained solution in a 150 ml conical flask and binding the 150 ml conical flask up; and sterilizing the bound 150 ml conical flask for 15 min at a temperature of 121 DEG C for later use.
