The preparation method includes the steps of 1), calcinating the the hydrotalcite to obtain the calcined hydrotalcite; 2), evenly mixing the calcined hydrotalcite, the carrier material and an adhesive with the microorganisms to obtain the raw materials; 3), pelletizing all the raw materials prior to drying the same to obtain the immobilized microorganism agent. The invention further provides an application of the above immobilized microorganism agent in processing wastewater containing anionic pollutants. By the arrangement, removal capacity of the anionic pollutants in the wastewater with the immobilized microorganism agent can be improved.
