Problems solved by technology

However, the center wavelength of the common commercial DFB lasers or vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) can only be tuned in a small wavelength range by adjusting the bias current or laser problems.

Embodiment

[0018] In this embodiment, the broadband chaotic signal generating device with tunable center wavelength is tested and verified through the test circuit. Specifically, the schematic diagram of the experimental device of FBG external cavity WRC-FPLD is as follows figure 1 As shown, in this experiment, a pigtailed weak-cavity Fabry-Perot laser (WRC-FPLD) was used, whose bias current and temperature were controlled by an ultralow-noise and high-temperature-accurate laser Drive source (ILX-Lightwave, LDC-3724B) controlled. The output of the weak cavity Fabry-Perot laser WRC-FPLD first passes through an optical circulator (OC1), and then is divided into two parts by the fiber coupler FC1, one part is amplified by the EDFA and then reflected by the tunable FBG. The parameters of the TFBG Yes (tunable wavelength range (1544.00nm~1556.00nm, 3dB bandwidth: 0.28nm) reflected light is fed back into WRC-FPLD cavity after passing through polarization controller PC, adjustable attenuator VA...

Abstract

The invention provides a wideband chaotic signal generation device with the tunable central wavelength. According to the generation device, the output of a weak resonant cavity Fabry-Perot laser WRC-FPLD firstly passes a first optical circulator OC1, and then is divided into two parts by a first optical coupler FC1; after being amplified by an erbium-doped fiber amplifier, one part is reflected by a tunable fiber bragg grating TFBG; the reflection light passes a polarization controller PC, a tunable attenuator VA, a second fiber coupler FC2 and the first optical circulator OC1, and then fed back to the weak resonant cavity Fabry-Perot laser WRC-FPLD; and the output of another part enters a detection system, wherein the detection system comprises a photoelectric detector FD, an electric spectrum analyzer and a spectrum analyzer. The polarization controller PC is used for controlling polarization states of feedback light, the variable attenuator VA is used for adjusting the feedback power of the feedback light and the power meter PM is used for detecting optical power of the feedback light.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a broadband chaotic signal generating device with tunable central wavelength. Background technique [0002] Optical chaotic signals based on semiconductor lasers have been widely concerned because of their applications in high-speed random number generation, optical chaotic radar, and optical chaotic secure communication. Especially in the optical chaotic secure communication, the optical chaotic signal generated by the semiconductor laser is better compatible with the existing optical fiber network and has higher security, which has aroused the research enthusiasm of scholars at home and abroad. In optical chaos secure communication, the optical chaos signal similar to noise is used as a chaotic carrier at the transmitting end to load the signal to be transmitted, and at the receiving end it is subtracted based on the principle of chaotic synchronization, and can be restored after filtering original transmitted signal. Using...
