Abstract

The invention relates to tobermorite and a synthetic method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (a) preprocessing aeolian sand, wherein the particle size of a preprocessed aeolian sand body is 5-20 microns, and the SiO2 content is not lower than 90wt%; (b) carrying out thermal reduction on desulfurized gypsum in the presence of a reduction agent, and digesting obtained quick lime, so as to obtain lime slurry; (c) mixing the preprocessed aeolian sand body, the lime slurry and optional water to generate first reaction, so as to obtain a first reactant; and (d) adding an activating agent and optional water into the first reactant to generate second reaction, so as to obtain a second reactant containing tobermorite. The method is low in development cost and little in pollution, the organic combination of the sand industry and green materials is realized, and synthesized tobermorite is high in added value and has good market application prospects.
