The invention discloses a preparation method of bactericidal polyester fibers; raw materials comprise a polyester fiber raw material, a bactericide, a silver powder and activated carbon; the bactericidal polyester fiber is prepared by the following steps: mixing the prepared silver powder with a dispersant, the bactericide and activated carbon to obtain a bactericidal mixture, wherein the bactericidal mixture comprises the components by the weight percentage: 2-4% of silver, 1-2% of the dispersant, 1-2% of the bactericide and 1-2% of activated carbon; carrying out high temperature melting blending of the bactericidal mixture and the polyester fiber raw material, and treating by a screw extruder to obtain a spinning melt; and finally, carrying out injection molding wire drawing treatment ofthe spinning melt body by an injection molding machine, carrying out heat setting at the temperature of 120-140 DEG C, and drying to obtain the finished product bactericidal polyester fibers.
