The invention discloses an iron-doped TiO2-SiO2 composite
aerogel, and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing PEG, absolute
ethanol,
ferrocene and deionized water at 40 DEG C under stirring to obtain mixed liquid; successively adding concentrated
nitric acid with a concentration of 65.0-68.0 (w / %), TEOS, TIP and HAc intothe obtained mixed liquid, and carrying out hermetic stirring at
room temperature for 60 min to form a mixed
sol; subjecting the obtained mixed
sol to hermetic aging and then to aging, and subjectingthe surface of the aged gel to ammoniation to obtain a hydrophilically modified gel; and washing the obtained hydrophilically modified gel with n-
hexane, and carrying out hierarchical
drying and
calcination successively to obtain the iron-doped TiO2-SiO2 composite
aerogel. The iron-doped TiO2-SiO2 composite
aerogel provided by the invention is applied to degradation of reactive dyes, aromatic hydrocarbons or organic pesticides. The method of the invention avoids the
hydrolysis of an inorganic iron salt in a
sol liquid system, and prepares the iron-doped TiO2-SiO2 composite aerogel through
atmospheric pressure drying, so the method is simple in reaction process and mild in
reaction conditions.
