Abstract

The thulium-doped fiber is of a double-clad structure, 2 mum signal light emitted by a signal source enters the laser amplifier, the 2 mum signal light and pump light emitted by the pump source are together incident on the wavelength division multiplexer, coupled by the wavelength division multiplexer, and then transmitted by the thulium-doped fiber to the wave decomposition multiplexer, during the transmission process, the thulium-doped fiber absorbs the pump light and amplifies the signal light, and the wave decomposition multiplexer outputs the remaining pump light and the amplified signal light.
