Abstract

A novel air purification system is disclosed. The system is characterized in that the system includes a plurality of surface dielectric-barrier discharge (SDBD) plasma modules, a nanosecond pulsed power supply, a rotation system, impellers, and the like; the surface dielectric-barrier discharge plasma modules include high-voltage electrodes, dielectric slabs, grounding electrodes and catalyst coatings. According to a technical scheme, the nanosecond pulsed power supply is adopted to stimulate a plurality of the SDBD plasma modules plated with TiO2 photocatalytic films, and a plurality of the SDBD plasma modules are assembled into impeller shapes or blade shapes mounted on the rotation system, and VOCs in high-flux air are efficiently removed through rotating the impellers or blades by a draught fan so as to increase the treatment efficiency or speed for VOCs in air. Beneficial effects of the air purification system are that a novel plasma purification device is simple in structure, modularized and expandable, and problems such as complex devices, small treatment sizes and non-ideal treatment effects in present plasma air purification techniques can be solved.
