Abstract

The invention discloses aqueous printing ink with a flame retardant effect and a preparation method thereof. Raw materials of the aqueous printing ink with the flame retardant effect are prepared fromwaterborne epoxy resin, modified acrylic resin, calcite in powder, an inorganic pigment, a flatting agent, a defoamer and deionized water. Meanwhile, the invention discloses a corresponding preparation method which comprises the following steps: adding the waterborne epoxy resin and the modified acrylic resin into a stirrer to prepare a pre-mixture; preparing mixed color paste from the calcite inpowder and the inorganic pigment; and finally, jointly stirring the two in a reaction kettle with the flatting agent and the defoamer and dispersing and grinding the mixture to obtain a finished product printing ink. The aqueous printing ink with the flame retardant effect solves the problem of volatilization of a solvent. Compared with solvent printing ink, the printing ink is more healthy and environmentally friendly. By adding the modified acrylic resin, water molecules are more easily diffused while improving the adhesive force of the pigment. An alcohol solvent is not added to improve the drying speed, so that the flammable and combustible risk is reduced, and the printing ink has good safety.
