The invention discloses a processing method of daylily. The processing method comprises the following processing course of (1) selecting raw materials; (2) performing fixation; (3) performing soaking:putting cooled daylily in a chlorine dioxide solution for soaking; (4) performing cleaning; cleaning the soaked daylily with warm water for 3-5 times, and removing floating water on the surface of the daylily; (5) performing drying: uniformly placing the cleaned daylily on a bamboo or wooden utensil for steaming foods, putting the bamboo or wooden utensil for steaming foods in a drying oven, performing drying until the water content of the daylily is 12-15%, wherein the drying temperature is 60-70 DEG C, the relative humidity is 60-80%, and the drying time is 20-40min; (6) performing bagging;and (7) performing sterilization. The processing method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the situation that nutrient components in the daylily do not run off can be guaranteed, thecontent of colchicine in the daylily can be effectively reduced, and the color and the quality of the daylily can be guaranteed. The method is simple in operation, economic and reliable, the flavor ofthe daylily can be maintained, and besides, the storage period of the daylily can be prolonged by 5-10 months.
