The waterproof plasterboard possesses following advantages: a hydrophobic film is formed on the plasterboard because of polymerization of silane, so that water resistance is achieved; adsorption of organosiloxane onto the stearate is adopted, on one hand, siloxane volatilization is prevented, and on the other hand, organosiloxane is uniformly dispersed in gypsum, the stearate is capable of promoting siloxane hydrolysis, the stearate possesses water resistance, and is capable of providing the finished product plasterboard with smoothness and flexibility.
