Problems solved by technology

Chinese patent 201010265169.1 reports a highly weather-resistant acrylic resin and its preparation method. Although this material can meet the basic requirements for materials for automotive exterior parts, it cannot effectively reduce the dielectric constant of ASA. The related automotive exteriors prepared by it Components May Interfere with Automotive mmWave Radar Signals
Chinese patent 201710706302.4 reports a high-transmittance ASA resin mixture and its radome, which successfully reduces the dielectric constant of the ASA resin by adding glass beads to the ASA resin and improves the radar wave transmission. However, since glass microspheres are inorganic fillers, they have a significant impact on the toughness of ASA, which cannot meet the toughness requirements of automotive exterior parts.

Abstract

The invention relates to ASA resin suitable for an automobile millimeter-wave radar and a preparation method of the ASA resin. The ASA resin comprises the following components in parts by weight: 45-70 parts of styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) copolymer, 25-40 parts of acrylate styrene-acrylonitrile rubber powder (ASA) powder, 3-15 parts of organic-inorganic hybrid resin, 0.1-1 part of antioxidant, 0.1-1 part of lubricant and 0.4-1 part of weather-resistant agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding all the components into a mixing stirrer for mixing the components; and feeding the obtained mixture into a twin-screw extruder through a weightless feeding machine, and carrying out blending granulation to obtain the ASA resin suitable for the automobile millimeter-wave radar. By introducing the organic-inorganic hybrid resin, the dielectric constant of the ASA resin can be effectively reduced, millimeter wave radar wave absorption of the material can be effectively reduced, and meanwhile, the obtained ASA resin can keep good impact toughness and weather resistance and is suitable for automobile exterior trimming parts.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of polymer blending and polymer molding processing, and relates to an ASA resin suitable for automobile millimeter-wave radar and a preparation method thereof; in particular, it relates to an ASA resin with low dielectric constant, high weather resistance and impact toughness ASA resin suitable for automotive millimeter wave radar and preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] In recent years, with the improvement of automobiles' requirements for intelligent driving, safety and collision avoidance, millimeter-wave radar has become one of the sensors in the design of intelligent automobiles. Requirements, if the dielectric constant of the material is high, there may be a risk of the signal being weakened when the radar wave passes through the material. The dielectric constant of ordinary ASA is generally 3.2-3.4, which may have a certain impact on radar wave penetration. On the other hand, as a long-te...
