Embodiment 1

[0012] Example 1 Sedimentation and flocculation experiment of printing and dyeing wastewater

[0013] 1 gram of chitosan (about 1 million molecular weight) and 10 grams of polyaluminum chloride (about 1000 molecular weight) were dissolved in 1 liter of deionized water to prepare a solution. Add ammonia water dropwise to 1 liter of printing and dyeing wastewater to adjust the pH value to 7. Take the prepared 15 ml polyaluminum chloride solution and add it to the waste water, stir for 3 minutes to produce a large number of floc particles, then add the prepared 1 ml chitosan solution, stir fully for 10 minutes, the floc particles become larger, and then statically Leave for 20 minutes. The settling time of the flocs was determined to be 8 minutes, and the absorbance measured by a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 540 nm was 0.0788, and the decolorization rate was calculated to be 96.1%.

Embodiment 2

[0014] Example 2 Sedimentation and flocculation experiment of printing and dyeing wastewater

[0015] 2 grams of chitosan (about 1.5 million molecular weight) and 10 grams of polyaluminium chloride (about 1200 molecular weight) were dissolved in 1 liter of deionized water to prepare a solution. Add acetic acid dropwise to 1 liter of printing and dyeing wastewater to adjust the pH to 6. Take the prepared 10 ml polyaluminum chloride solution and add it to the waste water, stir for 5 minutes to produce a large number of floc particles, then add the prepared 1 ml chitosan solution, stir for 15 minutes, the floc particles become larger, and then statically Leave for 10 minutes. The settling time of the flocs was determined to be 9 minutes, and the absorbance measured by a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 540 nm was 0.153, and the decolorization rate was calculated to be 91.0%.

Embodiment 3

[0016] Example 3 Sedimentation and flocculation experiment of printing and dyeing wastewater

[0017] 10 grams of chitosan (molecular weight of about 2 million) and 10 grams of polyaluminum chloride (molecular weight of about 1100) were dissolved in 1 liter of deionized water to prepare a solution. Add ammonia water dropwise to 1 liter of printing and dyeing wastewater to adjust the pH value to 8. Take the prepared 12.5 milliliters of polyaluminum chloride solution and add it to the waste water, stir for 2 minutes to produce a large number of floc particles, then add the prepared 0.1 milliliter chitosan solution, stir fully for 20 minutes, the floc particles become larger, and then statically Leave for 30 minutes. The settling time of the flocs was determined to be 9 minutes, and the absorbance measured by a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 540 nm was 0.100, and the decolorization rate was calculated to be 94.7%.

Abstract

The composite flocculant for treating printing and dyeing effluent consists of natural high molecular water soluble chitosan and polyaluminium chloride. The usage of the composite flocculant in treating printing and dyeing effluent includes regulating effluent to pH 6-8, and throwing composite flocculant in the amount of chitosan in 1-2 ppm and polyaluminium chloride in 100-250 ppm to result in printing and dyeing effluent decolorizing rate up to 91 %. The composite flocculant of the present invention has simple compounding process, easy use, low cost, small thrown amount, excellent decolorizing performance, fast deposition, small sludge amount, easy biodegradation, less secondary pollution of water and thus wide application foreground.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a composite flocculant for treating printing and dyeing wastewater. Background technique [0002] Printing and dyeing wastewater is one of the main harmful and difficult-to-treat industrial wastewater in my country. It is characterized by a large amount of wastewater, complex water quality, high concentration of organic matter, many refractory biodegradable substances, and deep color. Among them, the pollution of dyes is the most serious. Most of the flocculants currently used in printing and dyeing wastewater have problems such as poor decolorization effect, large dosage, large amount of sludge, and easy to cause secondary pollution. For example, in the literature (Tang Xinhu et al., Water Treatment Technology, 2001, 27[5], p267-270), the dosage of AF series flocculants is 1500mg / L to 2500mg / L, which produces a large amount of sediment. Therefore, it is very meaningful to develop a flocculant with excellent decolorization per...
