The invention discloses a device for preparing a slow-release nitrogen fertilizer from modified zeolite and a method for preparing a slow-release nitrogen fertilizer by using the device, and belongs to the technical field of fertilizer production. The device is constructed by connecting a crusher, a first conveyor belt, an adsorption reaction tank, a first dryer, a second conveyor belt, a disc granulator, a second dryer, a third conveyor belt, a drum fluidized bed, a fourth conveyor belt and a weighing and bagging machine. According to the device disclosed by the invention, ammonia gas and liquid urea are taken as nitrogen sources, and natural zeolite is modified firstly with a metal chloride solution, thereby remarkably enhancing the nitrogen adsorption performance. The ammonia gas and urea are evenly adsorbed into the microporous structure and the surface of the modified zeolite by vacuum pumping, and the modified zeolite adsorbs tightly with a nitrogen source, thus bringing the slowrelease performance of the modified zeolite into full play. Meanwhile, the zeolite has higher ion exchange and adsorption performance, so that excess nitrogen nutrients in soil can be adsorbed aroundzeolite lattices, soil nutrient loss is reduced, the utilization efficiency of the nitrogen fertilizer is improved, the agricultural pollution is reduced effectively.
