transmittance of the
display device. The
display device includes: an array substrate, anopposite substrate and a
liquid crystal layer; the display device is divided into sub-pixel areas, and the sub-pixel areas are divided into shading areas and light-transmitting areas; each sub-pixelarea comprises an
electrode structure and a first shading part, and each
electrode structure comprises a first
electrode, a second electrode and a third electrode; the first electrodes are divided into a first type of electrodes and a second type of electrodes; the electrode structures are configured to apply the same
voltage to the first type of electrodes and the second electrodes and the thirdelectrodes, apply different voltages to the first type of electrodes and the second type of electrodes, control
liquid crystal molecules to form a
liquid crystal lens, so that light passing through aliquid
crystal lens is converged to the first shading part; and the electrode structures are further configured in that: a
voltage is not applied to the first electrodes, different voltages are applied to the second electrodes and the third electrodes, and the liquid
crystal molecules are controlled to form a liquid
crystal grating, so that at least part of light passing through the liquid crystalgrating is emitted from the light-transmitting areas.
