Abstract

The invention discloses a fire coal additive comprising the following components in parts by weight: 5-13 parts of coal residue modifier, 6-19 parts of oxidizer, 10-25 parts of sulphur fixing agent and 4-10 parts of catalyst, wherein, the coal residue modifier is composed of magnesium chloride and sodium sulfate; the oxidizer comprises potassium nitrate, potassium permanganate and sodium chlorate; the sulphur fixing agent comprises ethanolamine, isopropanolamine and calcium hydroxide; the catalyst is cerous nitrate. The invention also discloses a method for preparing the additive.
