Abstract

The invention discloses a catalyst for synthesizing pinane by hydrogenating alpha-pinene and a preparation method. The catalyst comprises the following components by mass percent: 15-20% of amorphous-state NiB alloy, 20-30% of ZrO2 and 50-65% of Al2O3. The preparation method comprises the following steps: combining a supported nano ZrO2/Al2O3 composite carrier with the amorphous-state NiB alloy; fully utilizing the surface property of the composite carrier and the amorphous-state hydrogenation activity; and directly preparing the amorphous-state NiB alloy on the ZrO2/Al2O3 composite carrier to form a dual-function NiB/ZrO2/Al2O3 catalyst. The catalyst is also used for synthesizing the alpha-pinane by hydrogenating the alpha-pinene.
