The invention belongs to the field of super-hydrophobic coatings, and particularly relates to a citronellyl
polymer, a strong adhesion type citronellyl super-hydrophobic
coating and a preparation method of the strong adhesion type citronellyl super-hydrophobic
coating. According to the preparation method, firstly,
citronellol is converted into citronellyl
norbornene formate or citronellyl acid is converted into citronellyl acid
norbornene methyl ester, then, a low-surface-energy citronellyl
polymer is generated through ring-opening
polymerization reaction, and further, a micro-nano structure is introduced, so that the required bio-based super-hydrophobic
coating is obtained. The citronella-based
polymer adopted in the strong-adhesion type super-hydrophobic coating has a flexible citronella
side chain, so that the adhesion between the coating and a substrate can be promoted; ester bonds in side chains are easy to form physical bonding with a substrate, so that the interface
adhesive force can be enhanced; and the cyclic structure in the polymer main chain can effectively improve the cohesive force of the coating. The three components cooperate to bring excellent adhesiveness and mechanical durability to the super-hydrophobic coating.
