Abstract

The invention relates to a preparation method of Rhodiola rosea proanthocyanidin, comprising the following steps of: taking Rhodiola rosea rhizomes as a raw material, crushing the Rhodiola rosea rhizomes, sieving, carrying out a refluxing process for two hours by the use of ethanol at the concentration of 50% to obtain a proanthocyanidin crude extract; removing impurities from the crude extract, removing carbohydrates by high concentration ethanol, and removing lipid substances by petroleum ether; extracting by the use of ethyl acetate, separating high polymeric proanthocyanidin from oligomeric proanthocyanidin; finally purifying the high polymeric proanthocyanidin and the oligomeric proanthocyanidin by the use of a macroporous adsorption resin, followed by freeze-drying until the purity of the high polymeric proanthocyanidin and that of the oligomeric proanthocyanidin are respectively 95.0% and 88.3%. The method provided by the invention has advantages of simple technology and no pollution, and is easy to apply in industrial production; and the prepared proanthocyanidin has high purity and can be applied in natural pigment food additives as well as medical health-care raw materials which have an antioxidant function.
